"Serenade No. 3" for violin (or cello) and piano

$8.00

*Price in US dollars

Duration: c. 2’46

Serenade No.3 was composed on 21st July 1990 during one of my lunch breaks, and I wrote it with Meditation by Jules Massenet in mind, as indicated by the two-bar introduction and its D major tonality. It is in ternary form and was originally written for cello and piano. I transcribed it for violin and piano in 1996 for a friend’s violin recital and it had it’s world premier on 13th March 1996 at Victoria Concert Hall, Singapore. It was one of three Runners-Up at the 2005 UK Songwriting Contest, Instrumental Category.
